Born in 1967 in Peiting, Germany, Peter Mayr did a course at the Art and design Academy in Hanover, Fine Arts in Munich. Then he left for Ausburg to do a masters in Communication and Design strategy.
In 2016, he collaborated with the art historian, Linda Walter on a project concerning emotional expression through color. In order to create this work, he works with several Syrian refugees in his workshop.
His works are displayed in Art galleries but are also part of public and private collections such as "Achenbach consulting" in Dusseldorf, Axa Insurance Co in New York, Mercedes-Benz in Munich.
