Born in 1962, Alexandre Shibniov comes from a family of several generations of artist. He learned to draw with his parents.
His compositions of great purity express the idea of a spiritual harmony between man and his environment. They are made with tempera (an ancient method with natural pigments ad egg yolk) and are done on wood. His technique gives his paintings a special sense and represents a timeless and poetic piece.
