Stéphane Simon

Born in 1978 - Switzerland

Born in 1978 Stéphane Simon is a Swiss autodidact photographer, originally from Belgium.

He specialized himself in a very traditional way in feminine studio portraits. He introduces a certain amount of provoking humour and a taste for staging that make each shooting an unexpected composition. Sensitive to contemporary tendencies, he is shared between photography and digital composition.

He accumulates the Prizes, competitions and exhibitions. He organized a first exhibition in 2012 at the gallery Rue Quincampoix, in Paris, entitled "We are not Swedish" and won the same year the Black and White first prize of Art Labo in the portrait category. This prize opened the way for him for the photo fair in Paris. The following year he won the contest TPG in Geneva, the biggest photo contest in the world for the magazine Photo. Then, he collaborated with many magazines as Vogue Italy.
