In 2002, Gisella Stapleton graduated from the Valladolid y Salamanca Universities, in Spain. And since 2011, she has been living in London where she began courses at the University of Arts in London.
Gisella Stapleton work is particularly influenced by her experience in Peru and her different trips around the world. Women, musicians, children and scenes of everyday life represent her main subjects in her paintings.
The language of the body captivates Gisella Stapleton. On her canvases she tries to transpose the emotions with a mix of bright colors: Thus she obtains artworks with a very melodic visual.
The artist is an autodidact; she constantly loves trying new mediums and new techniques in her work. Most of the time she works with acrylic, sprays, and newspaper.
She is regularly exhibited in different galleries in Europe and America.
