Biography
Hervé Dupuis, French artist born November 24, 1950 in Dakar.
From 1967 to 1972, he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Angers and then in Nantes. He specialized in interior design for the last three years. His studies led to a professional career in the field of decoration and design.
He has devoted himself exclusively to painting for ten years.
Hervé Dupuis brings order to disorder, constantly seeks balance, and gives rhythm to his compositions through the contrasting play of colors and shapes.
A strong dynamic emerges in his painting, which he patiently constructs like building a wall.
His paintings are signed with an X, a symbol of the unknown, progression, and mystery. The handwritten signature is visible on the back of each work.
