Vanessa is a painter whose work focuses on the classical descriptive depiction, painted in a contemporary manner. Emphasis is given to facial expressions and body movements, which is reinforced by abstract twists, strong gestures and, often, surrealistic elements. Vanessa explores human inner states like loneliness, nostalgia, love and the need for freedom.  Her works are held in private collections in Europe, UK, Australia and US.
