Biography
André Lac is the painter of nature par excellence. His touch harmoniously melted in the way previously worked with the knife reveals all the nuances and the subtleties of the landscapes that this artist discovered while travelling through our country.
By love of light he paints Brittany, Provence, the French Riviera and its back country.
However, André Lac, who is originally from Toulouse, paints above all the landscapes of his region, of Toulouse, of its historical districts but also of the Pyrenees. The fullness of his experience has given him an impressionist style over time. In his works with a very assertive stylistic expression, the poetic perception of things is sublimated by the memory. Thus, the historical places in the center of Toulouse evoke in the paintings of this artist the memory of an idealized city as he knew it in his youth.
