Andrei Karpiankou

Andrei karpiankou is an accomplished Belarusian artist, who has been holding exhibitions nationwide, as well as in Poland, Russia, Bulgaria and The United Kingdom.

Through his art he explores our emotions, talks about what its like to be a human in this complex world. The artist prefers to complete his work in short cycluses, in which he reveals the content of an individual idea or reflects an emotional connotation with an explored period. In this regard, AndreI Karpiankou`s creative endeavours are quite diverse, but all his paintings are characterized by technical skills and psychological insight. In his artistic practice Karpiankou favors minimalism, symbolism and organic colors. His engaging pieces are painted using acrylics and oils on canvas.

About:

AndreI Karpiankou was born in Chechersk (Belarus, Europe) in 1980. Now he lives and works in Minsk. He uses oil paints techniques on canvas with different motives: figurative, abstractions, conceptual creativity. In his artworks we can see the joy of painting and colors, and of the creative process itself, of the energy of being. The artist is mostly interested in the problem of human existence in this world.

Education:

In 2001 he graduated from The Minsk State Art College (Design Department) named after A. Glebov.

In 2008 he graduated from Belarusian State Academy of Arts (Painting Department).

He is a member of The Belarusian Union of Artists.
