Wilkytea One

Born 07/12 in 1980, I grew up near the forest of Soigne in Tervuren.

Since I was 7 years old when I started ceramics, I express myself in 3D in my sculptures as well as on sheets of paper.

I then studied plastic arts for 8 years at the Sainte Marie school in Brussels which allowed me to learn techniques and to deepen the history of art.

Having grown up during and with the evolution of graffiti in all its forms, this artistic discipline very early on intrigued and fascinated me, I quickly understood that this means of expression was so vast that everything was possible and everything remained to be do because we were only in the early stages. It was in the course of the years 2001 that I started to paint, and since then I have not dropped the bombs.

Being part of the graffiti collective “Frime Team" allowed me to travel and develop my own style, which naturally took the path of organic plants, constantly evolving over the seasons and years.

Sensitive to recycling and jack of all trades and handyman, I told myself that something remained to be done with the empty spray cans. So I undertook to rework them with various materials from recovery to create lights and jewelry.

Having reached my ceramic size limits, I experimented with monumental palette sculptures for Fine Arts, Seeyou and many others.
