Presentation

Françoise Carrasco is a permanent artist of Galerie Capazza since 1987.

Since about forty years between the artist and the work weaves a network of complex relations. Their "decoding" can sometimes seem difficult, but it is essential in the apprehension of a major constituent of our perceptive life. "It is not to think which is magnificent, but to think in a head ". This thought of Derrida seems to take sense here in the exhibition of Françoise Carrasco's works.

This solitary artist is the sculptor of the dark and deeply moving revelations. Austerity, intensity characterize these poignant figures of the truth. Françoise Carrasco feels the imperceptibility of the fragility and the force of the human condition. The guest whom we are is confronted there and recognizes himself there, perceiving the extraordinary presence of our own condition, our daily life, our sensualism, our fears. These mirrors send back to us the image of our enjoyments and our sorrows as never we would have dared to conceive it.
