Carole Joubin lives in the Gers, in the South West of France. She has been painting in watercolors for about thirty years. His subjects are figurative. His watercolors are contrasted and the drawing is precise. She is interested in details. She puts her finger on small things, her eye in small recesses. Her favorite subjects are around her. It goes to the essential and promotes a refined expression where old objects, a priori worthless, take on importance. His work is decorative. It is, however, one of its goals. It is attached to the figurative for the reflection it gives of the object and the impression it emerges from it. Emotion is therefore one of his concerns.
