François Nasica was born in 1964 in Nice. At the age of 19, he became interested in drawing and painting. In 1987, he met the painter Gilardi with whom he studied for two years. He became then passionate about primitive art, parietal art and children's drawings, for they remind him that art is a universal language.
In 1990, he met various artists from Nice: poets, musicians, painters ... These encounters make him discover a new form of painting he will fall in love with: performance. The latter reminds him, according to him, what art is not: a means of expression reserved to an elite. Between 1992 and 1996, he realized about fifty performances with the Association of Free Artists of October 26, an association that he created with other artists.
In 1997, he left painting for some time to devote himself to music. He signed a contract with Mercury/ Universal with the group "Alert". In 2003, their title '' Mr Chet '' won the Adami Music Prize.
