Sophie Petetin, colorist painter, is a curious artist in her life as in her painting.

To paint is to get lost in a world of colors where matter becomes an emotion. Color and matter are expressed together in silent poetry. Painting has always given meaning to his life. Animated by the desire to paint from childhood, she carries her dreams, her memories and her emotions on the canvases with a generous material: oil, acrylic, ink, with a knife.

She enriches her catalog of seaside, travels and urban landscapes with lyrical abstraction canvases where colors and materials meet.
Originally from Franche Comté, she lived in Normandy (Le Havre and Rouen), then worked in Parisian workshops and has lived in Le Mans for more than 10 years where she has her own workshop in the middle of nature.
