Pierre Terrasson studied at the l'École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in the ‘70s.
In the ‘80s he took photographs of rock bands from France and abroad, and produced numerous photo essais: from Lou Reed to the Stranglers in Tel Aviv, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Nina Hagen, Téléphone in Athens, Indochine in Peru, Jean-Louis Aubert in Pragues, Hélène in Taiwan, etc.
He also produced record covers during this time: Santana, Buzy, Véronique Sanson, etc., and some videos for Les Infidèles, Martin Destrée, etc.
At the end of the ’80, he met Vanessa Paradis and became her exclusive photographer for 2 years. He produced the covers for her albums Maxou, coupe coupe and Mosquito and was involved in the shooting of Noce blanche. Afterwards, he collaborated with Jil Caplan, Elsa, Carole Laure, Elli Medeiros and the bruelmania.
In the years 2000, he was involved in the raï and rap scene.
After 2010, he has had numerous national and international shows and has worked in publishing: Bashung, Indochine, “le top des annees 80” for Didier Carpentier, Backstage and Hard Times for Tournon. He also collaborates with Le Camion Blanc, Slayer, Motörhead, Gainsbourg, Iron Maiden, The Cramps, Springsteen DANIEL DARC etc.
In February 2011 he has worked with Véronique Sanson, Gainsbarre gainsbourg , Patrick Bruel, Vanessa Paradis (Ed Premium).
In June 2012 he produces a video and photographs YSE.
