Presentation

Bathed since my childhood in a world of images with a bookseller father, I discovered photography around the age of 15. My gaze opens to the world through reviews and magazines such as “ZOOM".

It is mainly through this magazine that my passion for photography was born. My initial training will go through studies in Graphic Arts, courses in typography and page layout as well as graphic and visual communication. I will finish with a course in Art History at the Ecole du Louvre and a 15-year collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Communication.

After these years of experience in this field, my passion for photography materializes and my gaze turns mainly to the human, the social fact and its multiple cultural diversities. Little by little, during my travels, I immerse myself and build a photographic travel diary of man and his space.

Decorated by Frédéric Mitterrand (Minister of Culture and Communication) with Chevalier in the Order of Arts and Letters for contribution and service to French Culture (promotion January 2011).

"Geometric Reflection"

The visual research that I am currently conducting is the result of an investigation of the city, it gave birth to this project that I call "Geometric Reflection". Always in search of graphic elements and a colorist game, I look during my walks and travels for certain elements of the urban environment, graphic, geometric and kinetic forms. Buildings with reflective facades provide me with the material and I try to capture the second image hidden there. The viewfinder and the frame of my camera will reveal to me this second image that one discovers by observing and engaging in a "reflection" in front of the work. This first vision coming to confront or add to the second ambient perception. Composition in which an image of the city is based, diluted and blurred. Evanescent images where reflections, colors and shapes appear and disappear according to the light and the position of the solar star in the support formed by these buildings. My palette is there, so I just have to trigger and capture the composition. This hide-and-seek game with matter and light gives way to colors and shapes that energize the space and open up unsuspected graphic perspectives.
