Presentation
Daniele Davitti is an Italian artist born in Florence. He began by studying fashion illustration in his hometown. He won a scholarship in 2008 to study at the prestigious Bunka Fashion College (Tokyo, Japan), where he graduated. Daniele turned to fine arts and painting during her stay in Japan. During this trip, he has the chance to study traditional visual languages, including the art of ink and printing based on Japanese style and philosophies.
Back in Italy, he decided to give up the fashion industry to pursue his passions: education and the fine arts. In 2011, he was appointed professor of illustration and aesthetics at Polimoda (Florence, Italy). In 2016 Daniele moved to Melbourne to teach for two years.
During these many trips, Daniele developed the Japanese philosophy of meditation; a way of life that he adopts on a daily basis and that he transcribes in his work.
