Presentation
Violetta Arnesen was born in 1962 in Poland. She lived in Norway for many years before returning to Poland in 2021. She is a member of the Tegnerforbundet (TF), the Norwegian Drawing Center. She graduated from the Einar Granum School of Fine Arts in Oslo in 2006. Her first professional training was in geology, graduating from the University of Wroclaw (Poland) in 1987.
Your abstract drawings emerge from your knowledge of geology and your particular interests in natural structures and their components. Create your drawings using only simple, repetitive lines, slowly building up your impressions of the beauty, patterns, systems, and connections of nature, in both two and three dimensions, both interior and exterior. Our works are minimalist, detailed, and meditative.
