From the series When Tiger Used to Smoke. Heritage: Korea 
Rug inspired by an old Korean phrase “When the tiger used to smoke" meaning “once upon a time", and humor from folk paintings of bunnies holding the pipe for the tiger in horror. Jasoo – Korean embroidery is one of the representative oriental embroidery and has all the general characteristics of oriental embroidery. This piece is a collaboration of two generations – Rug is made by HyunJi Kim, a young tufting artist working in Seoul, and the embroidery is done by Bokhee Gwak, a skillful craftsman in Gyeonggi-do.
When Tiger Used to Smoke: Collection implies the idea of long-term sustainability by working with masters of each field who deserve much more recognition and incorporating modern furniture design with our traditional culture to make it more approachable.
