Barbara was born in 1958 and comes from Atnangkere - Soapy Bore Utopia in central Australia. For millennia, the Atnangkere Cave has been a Dreaming site for the Alyawarre and is the home of the Thorny Devil. She lives there with her partner Henry Kamara and her son and their family.
