Biography
Marc Weksler, born in Uccle in 1939, painted since he was 15 and exhibited for the first time in 1957 at the Galerie Renoir in Brussels.
Self-taught painter, he uses different techniques according to his desires and travels, sometimes with a search for the imagination. His work, a reflection of his moods, takes a particular look at what he sees, on certain words and emotions, leaving an important part to instinct.
During his travels, he draws sketches on the spot, collects wood, pebbles, sand… and includes them in his work, to obtain the material that best expresses his feelings of the moment and his pleasure in coloring.
