Biography
Miguel Moran is a Belgian artist born in 1971, he currently lives and works in Brussels.
His artwork comprises sculptures, photographs and paintings, his main inspiration is urban life. He has chosen the metro and the urban world as his favorite playground, he turns it into the background of his canvases on which he composes his own story with personages based on real ones.
His urban voyeurism is expressed in an spontaneous and natural way through explosive, acid and saturated colors. An admirer of his time, he tells us about contemporary history and its paradoxes. The drama of the scene is enhanced by the striking contrasts made by the artist.
His work has been exhibited in several personal expositions in numerous galleries in Brussels such as the TAG Gallery.
