Luo Li Rong, born in 1980 in Hunan, China, is an internationally renowned sculptor celebrated for her figurative bronze sculptures. With an exceptional mastery of sculpture techniques, she creates works that capture the fluidity of movement and the elegance of the human form.
At just 18 years old, she entered the Changsha Academy of Arts, where she quickly honed her artistic skills. By 20, she was admitted to the prestigious Beijing Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), specializing in ceramics and sculpture under the guidance of Sun Jia Guo and Lu Pin Chang. Graduating with honors in 2005, her academic journey laid the foundation for a remarkable artistic career.
During her studies, Luo Li Rong participated in public sculpture projects, including monumental installations for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, visible today in Da Lian Park. This experience propelled her into the spotlight, and her graduation project was widely praised, marking the beginning of her professional ascent.
Since 2014, Luo Li Rong has been based in Europe, primarily in Belgium, where she has gained significant recognition from international galleries and collectors. Her works bridge contemporary Chinese culture and Western artistic traditions, offering a unique and refined interpretation of both.
