
Biography
Born in China in 1938, Fan Zeng is a contemporary visual artist, specializing predominantly in meticulously-detailed figurative paintings. Having graduated from the painting programme at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, the artist developed a style of painting which incorporates landscape, human, and other natural subjects.
Over the course of his career, Zeng had solo exhibitions in Japan, as well as various exhibitions in Asia. In the latter portion of his career, that artist was made the head of the Nankai University Museum of Antiquities, and advisor in the Fine Arts and Literature departments. He now resides and works in Beijing.
