Egon Fischer (October 23, 1935 - January 28, 2016) was a Danish sculptor.

Born in Copenhagen, Fischer studied at Eks-skolen where he learned welding at Poul Gernes. The school's experimental approach gave a significant boost to its development. He began exhibiting in 1963 and presented his first welded pieces the following year with humorous titles such as "Besværlig tanke på sokkel" (Difficult thoughts on a plinth) or "Svævende port med hank og søjler" (Floating door with handles and columns).

In 1967 he contributed Ølkasseskulptur (beer crate sculpture) to an open-air exhibition. Another experiment carried out in the 1970s resulted in a series of monumental works, notably his film Skuptur-broen connecting Birkerød's town hall with its library. The enormous work combines art and function, combining sculpted structural elements and colorful flowers.

Subsequent commissions included the Hercules Column in Ordrup and the Pyramid Et scimt af fremtiden (A Glimpse of the Future) in Ballerup. Fischer's preferred materials are iron and steel, often painted in bright colors.
