Biography
"My work is a tribute to all the women who work for a better world." Bernadette Dagens is a plastic artist, humanist and resolutely turned towards the world. She creates contemporary works where ceramics are still present. Born in 1966, she developed her knowledge of volume at the Ecole d'Enseignement Supérieur d'Art de Bordeaux, then specialized in ceramics at the Beaux-Arts in Vallauris. These two schools enabled him to acquire technical skills and versatility. His ease and his know-how are the fruits of a great rigor of work and a daily discipline. After working with various masters, she set up her studio in Lyon in 2005. She regularly participates in competitions and biennials, such as the Lyon Lions Biennale, or the Carouges International Ceramics Competition in Switzerland. At the same time, she devotes herself to more personal in-depth works, in the form of installations, and experiments with new ideas throughout her works. The Art of Bernadette Dagens is entering companies like a new form of communication. She puts her know-how, ideas and experience at their service.
