Biography
Hubert de Watrigant was born in 1954 in the Landes, to a family belonging to the equestrian world. Self-taught, he won a drawing prize in Rome in 1977 and has been on a series of fairs and exhibitions. He has been working for several years with the Hermès house for which he creates, among others, many squares such as “Plaza de toros”, “Equestrian ballet”, “Sketches of racetracks”, “Show jumping”,… Animal painter recognized, he exhibits regularly all over the world.
Thanks to his different techniques and supports, Hubert de Watrigant offers us for each new exhibition a magnificent variety of paintings. His work and his keen sense of observation give an extraordinary result. Horses and bulls are naturally present but not only ...
