Biography
Self-taught painter Miguel Cadiergues combines abstraction and figurative art. The common thread of his pictorial exploration is risk taking, the quest for adventure, movement and vital forces, questioning ourselves, taboos ..., like so many subjects and traces that punctuate the search for the artist, which push us to our limits and invite us to accompany him in his impossible resolution of the enigma of the feminine, the mysteries of love, of the soul, of the encounter, of the life and death, and also subjects and unspoken which run through our society since the dawn of time.
Miguel Cadiergues likes to provoke, challenge, so that the gaze is frozen and to move the mind of the spectator: "Have we really gone to look beyond what they want to tell us and show us?" he said.
