Biography
Yael Burstein (born 1974, Israel) is a multidisciplinary artist. She holds a BFA from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design (2001), and graduated her MFA with honors from from the Royal Collage in London (2007).
Yael Burstein has exhibited widely and had solo and group shows in Inga Gallery, Tel Aviv (2015, 2013) Tel Aviv Museum of Art (2019,2018,2014), The Israel Museum, Jerusalem and more.
Her work is installed both in private and public collections (Israel Museum Jerusalem; Parallel Collection; Hoche Art Collection). Burstein has received numerous scholarships, including the Clore Foundation Scholarship, and the Sandberg International Scholarship.
She lives and works in Tel Aviv, Israel.
