Hermann Hodler was born in Nidau. Death in Oberdiessbach.
Swiss-German painter.
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden and Munich.
He was influenced in his work by Böcklin, then by E. Hodler also by Puvis De Chavannes.
