Biography
In his desire to handle different materials, to build by different means and to know a wide range of existing techniques for assembly, Alexandre Vega first studied machine mechanics. Electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanics offer a very wide variety of techniques that have opened up his creative horizon through the many hours spent in the workshop building and repairing.
His field of predilection naturally fell in lighting. This combines the creation of an object with the challenge of the ingenuity of cable passage, which generally takes on, in the creations of Alexandre Vega, a test that is sometimes difficult to overcome.
His creative thinking is as much about handcrafted and therefore unique lamps as it is about the more industrial series.
