Biography
Born in 1960 in Tunis, Taïta developed her passion for drawing and painting very early. However, her priority was her family. Mother of five children, she was finally able to devote herself to her art for about ten years. Her attraction to the Hebrew letters has guided her work.
Her taste for materials with structured effects, for materials with reliefs and for nuanced colors allowed her to express her perception of Jewish Art. She tries a different approach to this art form that is already thousands of years old.
Through her paintings, she lets herself be guided by her own particular and rich sensitivity. By bringing letters and objects to life, she wishes to share her emotions while preserving the sanctity of the Judaism she practices daily.
