Cigdem Mentesoglu

Çiğdem Menteşoğlu works based on personal history that lies between fiction and reality. She investigates subjective interpretations of the real world around her and transforms them into transcriptions of a human condition. 

Basically, she works with paintings, drawings, installations and video art. She is inspired by images, news, dreams, historical photos, etc. Her installations by lei are combined with painting and drawing.
