Turkish-born Refik Anadol has risen to immense prominence in recent years, following his pioneering innovations in the world of digital and New Media art. His work is recognized globally for its highly sensory, locomotive simulations, crafted by AI softwares and complex data algorithms. Anadol graduated from the University of California, after which the artist set up his eponymous art studio and research lab, RAS LAB, in Los Angeles. Today, his art is regarded as the quintessential fusion between art and motion technology.
Now a leading figure in the digital media art world, Anadol's work has been featured in several internationally renowned museums, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Venice Biennale.
