Biography
Kianja Strobert is an American multi-media artist, born in New York City in 1980. Having received her BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and MFA from Yale University, Strobert is now based in Hudson, New York. Often releasing work in themed series, the artist’s work incorporates a variety of materials and textures (both in sculpture and on paper), which come together in a soft color palette.
The artist has showcased her work in solo exhibitions at Studio Harlem Museum in New York City, as well as at group exhibitions such as Art Antwerp in 2021 and Marinaro at Art Los Angeles Contemporary in 2019.
