In her artistic practice, Iryna Burda explores the subtle and often invisible mechanisms that govern the human inner world. Through symbolic imagery, subconscious metaphors, and a deeply emotional visual language, she delves into themes of personal boundaries, fears, stereotypes, and transformation.
The fish, as a central symbol in her works, becomes both a guide and a trap — a representation of intuition and unconscious impulses. Its layered presence on the canvas highlights the complexity of self-encounter, where every moment of introspection may lead to growth or pose a challenge.
Iryna invites the viewer not only to observe, but to engage — to feel, recognize, and live through the experience. Her art is a journey into the depths of the psyche, where chaos transforms into harmony, and every crisis opens the door to a new dimension of the self.
Iryna Burda is an artist and mother of two sons. Her projects explore the influence of subconscious beliefs on identity. Her work is a visual exploration of self-acceptance, inner conflict, and personal transformation.
