Biography

Socrate is a french artist coming from the graffiti movement. After some years paintings walls in the street with spray cans she gets from urban materials to canvas.

Her work is made of contrats : the colorful and wild essence of graffiti is confronted with duotone and B&W pictures. In the same way, urban art's inherent energy and movement in her colorful background animates temporal and motionless images.
