Pierre-Luc Poujol

Pierre-Luc Poujol began his brilliant studies in applied arts, graduating top of his class (First Prize in Drawing, First Prize in Perspectives, First Prize in Sketching).

After dividing his time between France and the United States for several years, he permanently set up his studio in the South of France, near Montpellier, in 2018.

Influenced by the peasant roots of his farmer grandfather and nurtured by the spiritual environment of his pastor father, Pierre-Luc Poujol developed a sensitivity to the world and the nature that surrounds him very early on.

Recognized for his work and artistic commitment, he has won numerous prestigious awards. He was notably awarded the international prize awarded by UNESCO for the bimillennium of the Nativity.

Pierre-Luc Poujol also maintains close ties with museum institutions. He notably presented "Voyage à Giverny" at the Paul Valéry Museum in spring 2020 as well as "Arborescences" in 2024, his latest monographic exhibition bringing together a collection of more than 70 paintings and wood sculptures on the theme of trees and forests. From June to October 2025, Pierre-Luc Poujol is this time taking over the Musée du Protestantisme with a new version of this exhibition, enriched with new works specially created for the occasion.

A committed artist, in spring 2022 he became the first ambassador of the French NGO Coeur de Forêt, to which he lends his voice and his tools in favor of the preservation of our biodiversity.
