Biography
Sandy is a graduate from both Falmouth School of Art and Plymouth University Exeter campus where he studied under one of the great landscape photographers of our time. Jem Southam. Having worked commercially for past 20 years Sandy is now focused on distilling time, light and land in his images of the landscape.
Rocks, Islands. Distant land. Is an exploration of a Haiku approach to landscape photography. Looking at the physical world and seeing something deeper, like the very nature of existence. Wishing to leave the viewer with a deeper feeling or impression of our relationship with the land and the journey ahead.
