Biography
Nuria is an artist, photography is her tool... Her expression is contemplative, her symbolism is non-literal and, in no way superficial! She creates an astonishing narrative, a mirror of universal moments, an eulogy to the morose, to happiness glimpsed, to our lives!! She dares to expose a vulnerability, not letting herself be intimidated by ordinary circumstances or remarks. Sometimes, her stagings are "games" of juxtaposition, often contrasted, sometimes complementary or in opposition. She compels a flow in the Viewer's gaze, the naming of certain symbolisms, perfectly discernible between the "things," the bodies, the glances, the moments...., The absence of a representation of Time passing, proposes and facilitates this lasting imprint that remains in our memories... Nuria Espuis Morera, born in 1967, lives and works in Catalonia (Spain).
