In wear and tear, there is a story worth telling. It is about capturing a moment temporarily frozen in the tumultuous existence of cities.
Biography
URBAN ECOREALISM I resignify the existing into a new poetic signifier, visualizing the imprints and traces that we leave on our paths. This is the poetic concept that I defined to express my creation. They are the imprints and traces left by the erosion of human behavior on the streets, on the sidewalks and on the walls; brands abandoned by urban life and which tell a story. In my work I seek to capture these “footprints" left by countless footsteps on a pedestrian crossing, the random patterns of torn posters, the cracks, the stains. These neglected, faded elements, often considered as a decline, are a source of inspiration to me, as are the metro, cafes and other places where we only pass through. I establish a dialogue between myself and the city, perpetually shaped and redefined by the pulse of its inhabitants. In the wear and erosion there is a story that deserves to be told. It's about capturing a temporarily frozen moment in the tumultuous existence of cities.
