Franco Salas Borquez

Franco Salas Borquez is a Franco-Chilean artist born December 17, 1979 on the Island of Chiloé in Chile. He lives and works in France. Embodying the regeneration of the great painters of the sea, he recreates, from canvas to canvas, the bewitching power of the waves.

His works are part of private and public collections (Naval Museum of Madrid, Naval Museum of Punta Arenas, Museum of the Citadel of Saint Tropez, Yacht-club of France).

He also received the Prize of the Institute of Maritime History and Culture of Spain (Naval Museum of Madrid in 2010) and a letter of congratulations from the Minister of Defense "42nd Salon de la Marine", Naval Museum of Paris, Palais Chaillot, 2011.
