Janusz Szpyt

Janusz Szpyt was born in 1960, he is a Polish painter. He graduated from the Graphic design faculty and painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. 1983 onward, he became the member of the « Group of Three » (Grupa Trzech) also called « Tercet nadety ».

The events are shown in the background, tense muscles and expression on the face give the possibility to decipher the psychic and spiritual condition, which influence peoples' behavior and their decisions. The artist not only shows the physical aspect of these models but also their psyche, by highlighting the truth, as the philosophers always strive to show.
