Biography

Karen Darbinyan speaks of painting as his lifeblood and spends nearly all of his time with a paintbrush in hand. Karen's impressionist landscapes pay tribute to the 19th-century masters while adding a contemporary perspective that speaks to the delicate and sublime beauty of the natural world.

His beautiful light-filled landscape paintings fill his art with astonishing life-like brushstrokes that excel in their physical characteristics. He delivers a numerous of expressions through his acute sensitivity and attention to details, smooth textures, and the essential nature of all living forms.

His paintings have been exhibited around the globe, from Russia to California, and he is a member of The Artist's Guild of Armenia.
