Dalva Magalhães

Dalva de Magalhães was born in São Paulo and, for nearly five decades, has dedicated herself to her art, sustaining herself through it. His technique involves the use of different materials, such as acrylic, gouache and oil, applied on canvas or wood. 

Regional and folk art have provocated a strong influence on his work. In addition, Dalva is a dedicated marathon runner, residing in the mountainous region of Serra da Bocaina, where she focuses her concern on nature preservation and is passionately engaged in the fight for the rights of indigenous peoples. 

Her painting is characterized by creativity and attention to detail, portraying an intimate world that reflects its ecological environment.
