Iolanta Gondouin (Iola)

Iolenta Gondouin is a painter with various styles.

Both business woman and painter, Iolenta Gondouin painted her first artworks at the age of 5 years old. Noticed by art critics, she started to be exposed at 7 years old. Her passion leads her to take painting classes with a few different professors and at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Moldavia. Her scientific studies, however, condemn her to quit painting for a while.

Nevertheless, her long carrier in an engineer school and a PhD in Economy didn't stop her from loving art. In 2012, she decided to pick up her paintbrush again. Her first paintings, after years of inactivity, were a true roar. She paints day and night to catch up.

Her journey is uncommon but allowed her to share her singular 25 years of experience in her art. Her paintings are quite strong, emotional, provocative and nobody can be left unaffected.

Figuration, fauvism, expressionism, realism, symbolism, abstraction : the artist went through numerous styles while still achieving a very personal art.

She mostly uses oil painting,acrylic and gold foil. Her favourite subjects are butterflies, boats and nudes. She's mostly inspired by impressionists and minimalists. Her heart goes to Salvador Dali and Jeff Koons.
