Lucie Geffré

Lucie Geffré is a sculptor and painter. She lives in Spain from her residence at the Académie de France in Madrid, the Casa de Vélazquez. Her paintings have been exhibited at the Mall Galleries in London, the Espace Pierre Cardin in Paris, the Salon d'Automne, and the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, where she received first prize for painting.

In 2019, she won the first Claire Combes painting prize from the Taylor Foundation. In 2021, her paintings were exhibited at the Château de Carrouges in Normandy. The Orne Departmental Contemporary Art Fund acquired two of her paintings on this occasion.

During the BAD+ exhibition in Bordeaux, the Bernard Magrez Institute purchased one of his paintings for its collection.

In 2022 and 2025, the Ateneo de Madrid commissioned portraits of Spanish female authors to be included in its gallery of portraits of famous people.

Lucie Geffré was born in 1976 in Bordeaux; she lives and works in Madrid.
