Description
This artwork presents a surreal and thought-provoking scene featuring a soldier clad in a vintage blue uniform, complete with a facemask, standing atop a newspaper-crafted paper boat. The soldier's stoic posture, holding a rifle, suggests themes of vigilance and isolation. The boat, floating precariously among swirling waters, symbolizes fragility and the passage of time, amplified by the printed text on its surface, hinting at the transient nature of information. Presentation
Giorgi Giorgadze is a Georgian artist born in 1966 who lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia. He started the painting since childhood, but professionally since 2012. He is self-taught artist. He participated in numerous exhibitions: Artist's House of Tetritskaro in 2016, Christmas Exhibition in Tbilisi in 2023, Spring Exhibition in Tbilisi in 2024, Art Show in Smirnov Museum in Tbilisi in 2024. He mostly uses watercolors, oil and mixed techniques onto the canvas.
