Nili Pincas invites us on a journey to the heart of the oceans, populated by enormous protective fish which accompany men in their dreams. Because these are metaphors, spiritual quests, dreams of escape... these “daughters of fire” carry us away! Apparently fragile, they are nevertheless firmly anchored in reality and impose themselves with force. Their blue gaze is turned towards their spiritual, interior life, to be elucidated like an enigma for the spectator. Powerful, almost virile in the rigor of their posture, these women sit like modern goddesses, unshakeable totems. Reassuring, peaceful, they impose a distance from the whirlwind of existence and offer a rare moment of serenity.
