Drawing Now Paris 2024 - Stand IN7

Paris From March 20, 2024 to March 23, 2024

Presentation

For its first participation in DRAWING NOW ART FAIR, the Arnaud Lebecq gallery is showcasing a French-Vietnamese artist and a Thai artist, highlighting their work exploring humanity's relationship with nature and their reflections on the visible and the invisible. Driven by questions of identity and fascinated by mysticism and its unseen realms, Florian Sông Nguyễn, of French-Vietnamese origin, uses ink drawing as an exploratory tool. Each of his pieces is the culmination of a journey rooted in contemplation, continuing through research and his imagination. Imhathai Suwatthanasilp draws his inspiration from the tropical nature surrounding his studio. Contrasts of black and white, sometimes enriched with touches of color, characterize his work in graphite and charcoal, enhanced with acrylic paint. Intertwined with meticulously rendered lines and textures, they suggest the delicacy and vulnerability of our environment.
Mysterious and intriguing forests, where the real world and the imaginary intertwine, characterize her series of drawings on canvas. In her series on paper, she isolates elements of nature with representations bordering on abstraction.
