Giorgia Roversi is an Italian artist whose vivid and emotionally charged works explore the intersection of anatomy, beauty, and emotional healing. With a foundation in fine arts and a career as an anatomical illustrator, Roversi developed a deep fascination with the human body, its structures, its mysteries, and its symbolic power. After stepping away from art for several years, she returned with a renewed sense of purpose and a distinct, personal visual language.
Drawing from her anatomical background, Giorgia Roversi reimagines the body’s internal world: symbolic organs become vibrant surreal still lifes – lush, bright, and adorned with feathers, jewels, and bold colors. These anatomical inventions are not scientific, they are emotional. For Giorgia Roversi, physiological precision is only the starting point. What truly matters is a shift in perception.
Organs are usually seen as something unsettling. Roversi deliberately challenges this reaction. She transforms what is often perceived as disturbing into something luminous, sensual, and visually arresting.
